I achieved a senior ranking of top 40 in the U.K and have competed against many world ranked players picking up wins and losses throughout my career.

Cornwall until I was 18 and then Sutton Tennis Academy

Which coach do you feel had the biggest impact on your playing career and why:

Nick Weal - he really showed me what I was capable of as a player and gave me the confidence and guidance to improve my game and make the right decisions.

Which coach do you feel has had the biggest impact on your coaching career and why:

Erwan Nicolas, Neil Carter & Nick Weal, all from Sutton Tennis Academy. They helped me right from the start of my career with support and advice in all situations of performance coaching. Also James Webster (my dad). I always aspired to try and achieve the same levels of coaching he did and also help to develop Cornish tennis with the same passion.

Favourite Bands:

Counting Crows, Kings of Leon, Jamiroquai, these are the top of the list but I like all types of music and have many other bands and individuals that I listen to.

Favourite movies:

Point Break, American pie (all of them), Men of Honour, Die Hard (all of them).

Favourite TV show:

Spooks, Hustle, The Inbetweeners, Only Fools and Horses.

Words of wisdom for all those promising junior players out there:

You will get out what you put in. Every time you step on the court focus on yourself to take every opportunity you can.
